Count Your Blessings
You never understand thanksgiving until you pass through the fire. You are thankful but sometimes, it doesn't really dawn on you what it is God has done until you've passed through fire and been delivered.
It's like a breakthrough. It is a breakthrough. Like the landslide of an avalanche, everything comes rushing out.
Then you realize how David the King could dance in a way as unbecoming and unfitting of a king
At that point you no longer care as you release your praise to God in no other way or any way that you can.
With my terrible dancing skills, shouting at the top of my voice till it cracks. Holding back tears because of forming/embarrassment and then releasing it because He didn't hold back on you/me, but went all the way to the cross and gave up. How can I be ashamed to worship him with my tears, with my hands held high, falling flat to the ground before my King.
With all that I am, giving Him thanks.
Breaking my alabaster box before the King, I'll talk about this someday.,
When you remember that 10 000 tongues can't be enough. You understand that all the shouting. jumping, crying and all really can't be enough but you just want to say thanks.
Not just for the big things but for the little, not just for the good but for the bad and today I'm grateful for the ability to eat, sleep, wake up, go to toilet, move, walk, talk. I'm grateful for good health.Ayebanoa Sapphire Benwari
The Lord is worthy to be praised.
I'll be doing a challenge on Instagram to remind us about being thankful you can join in or not but remember to be thankful. All of our worship should go to him and him alone who is worthy to be praised.
